With 16 years' experience in the asbestos industry, I've seen the trade from every angle.
I started out as a trainee on the tools, learning the practical, hands-on side of safe asbestos removal, before working my way up through management roles. In July 2022, I took that experience and set up Asbestos Removal Team Ltd, built on the belief that clients deserve a contractor who understands the job from the ground up, not just from behind a desk.
Since then, the company has continued to grow and learn with every project we take on, always looking for ways to raise the bar for our clients and our industry. That grounding shapes how we work today: safety-led, hands-on, and genuinely invested in getting every job right.

How we work
The standards we hold ourselves to
Asbestos work is one of the few trades where the consequences of cutting a corner do not show up for thirty years. We plan every job as though somebody will be checking it.
Trained and face-fit tested
Every operative is trained to the level the work requires, face-fit tested for their RPE, and under medical surveillance. Refresher training happens on schedule, not when somebody remembers.
Documented properly
RAMS, plan of work, ASB5 notification, air monitoring results, clearance certificates and consignment notes. The file you receive is the proof the job was done correctly.
Straight answers
If the material is fine where it is, we will tell you. We would rather lose a job than sell a removal somebody does not need.
Respectful on site
Floor protection, tidy access routes, and a clean handover. Most of our work is in somebody's home or somebody's business, and we treat it that way.
Local, but not limited
Stockport is home and where a lot of our work is, but our team travels for contracts across England, Wales and Scotland.

Our story so far
From one licence to a growing contractor
Asbestos Removal Team Ltd started in July 2022 and now brings together over 40 years of combined industry experience across the team. We work for homeowners who have found something in the loft, builders who have hit a problem mid-refurbishment, and property managers who need an ongoing programme rather than a one-off visit.
